I've had the pleasure to have great clients, and my last assignment in the States [I'm currently in Mexico] was one of those projects you fall in love with. Be it the overall concept, theme, business, etc.. I just truly loved it from the beginning. If you've read earlier entries, you saw my design for "Off! With Her Hair Salon":
Well, I had various designs before reaching the above illustration, one of them very similar but not as eye-catching:
There were also different variations on the same Louis XIV-Versailles-Lady Coppola's Marie Antoinette-Meets a Whore- concept:
This spawned to another project with O!WHH [Off! With Her Hair] for a website design, they wanted the Marie-Antoinette character to be sexy, with scissors in hand, the clients basically left me to my own creative devices. They opted for a very simple, line-based watercolor piece:
